It is no secret what the First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen Social Center means to the members of our congregation. It is less a building and more the very vibrant, dynamic heart and soul of our congregation and its vast ministries. It is four walls, one roof and thousands upon thousands of experiences, all in the name of our Lord.
During any given week, it could be the home to a rummage sale. And a blood drive. It could mean counseling to those whose souls compel it. And sustenance to those whose lives require it. It could go from pancake breakfast to youth group gathering to dinner dance to holiday fellowship in less than a weekend.
For more than 60 years, our social center has had a profound effect on our congregation and our community. Now is the time to give it new life and leave a legacy for the next 60 years and beyond.
Since the 1700s, First Presbyterian Church of Metuchen has fostered ministries of mission, outreach and worship.
